Red face Skunk2 Springs

*Updated*

Well I installed my Skunk2 springs, at first I could have sworn the car was much lower, but recently I met up with my buddy who has a stock 05 S2000, comparing the car, it appears to only have a minimal drop in the front, like an inch maaaybe, the back kinda looks lower, but im thinking its the exhaust creating the effect? You tell me?

-Im now sure this has happend because I swaped the front && back springs, I did my friends springs the "correct way" and his back is really droped but the front eeh, looks wierd..so i'll be swaping mine to the "correct way" && possibly cutting a coil in the front.

Got Pikz?
THANX

Random Pic of My exhaust, I thought it looked pretty cool.

I think the 2+ was the old version of the springs. New ones should be 2" front, 1.8" rear.

You did make sure to put the springs in properly right? I think it's 8 coils in the rear, 9 in the front. I might have the numbers turned around as it's been a little while. Also, you left the proper gap between the edge on the seat/cup and the end of the spring...correct? If anything, they may just need a little more time to settle.

I'll post pics of my S2-S2 drop in about an hour when i get to the office.

It should be 8 in the back, 9 in the front, but I did it opposite to prevent the "boat looking effect". I was on Honda-Tech and saw pictures with the springs the right way && also swaped, sooo, I went with what looked best..the car rides perfectly anyways.

I've heard of the boat effect, but have yet to experience it

Here's a few shitty pics I took on the way down here.
Guess I should've walked further away but couldn't stand in the road much longer

I'm still on the stocks, and I can notice just a tiny bit of a difference but nothing major. Most noticable difference, I scrape damn near everywhere

couldnt you say something a little more constructive??

any who, i just installed my friends springs the correct way, the back of his is pretty much slammed, i'd say less then 1 finger space, but the front is about 2 fingers. So Im just gonna switch them out, and cut a coil in the front..
