Default Snorkel problem, need advice.

When my s2000 was found striped I removed the CF spoon snorkel so I could put it on our new S2K. The old one was a 2004, our new one is a 2004. PROBLEM: when I try to install it there are two A\C lines that block it from going in. I didn't have this problem before. ANY advice guys. I am thinking one of these two cars was altered in some way. Any easy fix. Thanks guys.

i think you have 2 remove the black crossbeam thats in the area. i think its only two studs, plus you might have 2 remove the actuall bracket holding the beam.

Thanks I did see the crossbeam and that I will remove but I can't understand those two A'C lines running side by side about two inches apart. I t makes the install impossible. Just wondering if others had this issue or if my car was worked on before I purchased it. Thanks guys

well on my J's intake the snorkel goes right in front of the lines, but the only way it would fit was by taking off that crossbeam. was ur old S purchased new, maybe you just dont remember having 2 take off that beam, or maybe the previous owner had already taken it off. The seperation of the lines eems 2 be normal, i think ithink mine are like that also

Thanks guys you where right. It was not the A/C lines but the black support bar that was holding me up. The car is a lot slower then our first s2k. The previous owner must of done something to give it more hp. Wife is a speed freak and can notice the difference. Thanks again guys.
