Default So this happened......

There was a pretty nasty storm that popped out of nowhere yesterday, and part of the facade of the warehouse flew off and hit my car.....

I officially hate South Florida.

That sucks, at least it was the front fender that can be replaced unlike the rear.

Shouldn't the buildings insurance cover it too?

In theory, yes. The landlord is harder to find than Tupac, so this may end up being pretty difficult. A police report has been filed, however, and my insurance company has been contacted. I also have an eyewitness and security footage, plus the testimony of a few of the tenants detailing how maintenance of the building has been neglected.

Damn bro! I feel for you. Check the marketplace section for a fender. Shouldn't be too hard to find. That storm that hit was part of what went up North and dumped snow and rain on them. Created a lot of hickups for my network ties up there. Running around all day today working out the glitches

Honestly, I'm looking at having the entire right side of the car repainted and blended. I noticed a lot of scratches that weren't there before and have documented them. What sucks is that my paint was pretty immaculate and original, and now it won't be. Thats my biggest concern.

Let me know who and where does your paint. Some a-hole bumped me at a light last Friday on my way home. Nothing major to involve insurance but I do have a scuff now and a scuff from a previous bump. I can't wait to get the car off the daily commute.
