Ok so Ive been looking for a decent shop to get my headunit amp and some speakers installed saw this place right by my house and said ehhh why not my cousin got his 350Z radio and alarm done there and it didnt come out half bad (apart from two scratches they caused 1 on his dash another on his driver door but whatever I said Ill just stay there while theyre doing it to prevent anything like that well, the installer said he would be done in an hour this was at 12:45 I go back around 1:30 and he says oh Im almost done give me 10 mins so I decide to go find an atm to get the dough out I come back in 7 mins and I see he is working on another car and Im like ok WTF just happened...
Whatever the owner comes out and tells me Ill get you another installer and Im like ok fine I guess Ill just wait till the new installer would finish his other job he is doing a speaker install its now 1:45 still waiting the installer finishes his work and says sorry I gotta go I have custody of my kids gotta go pick them up Ill be right back, ok I sit it out waiting for the guy to show up.........................................



Its now 3:00 guy is a no show and doesnt answer his phone......

The previous worker that started another vehicle when it was my turn has not finished... I wait for him to finish..........

Its now 4:15 the installer that started the other car is now done and just hops in his car and leaves I go outside in utter disbelief and the owner of the shop calls him he says he will be back shortly he hadnt eatten all day ok............

Its now 5:17 none of the workers show up and I see the owner putting away the tools I say to myself like WTF do you remember IM sitting here waiting I ask him so are these guys gonna show up he says "oh come by saturday ay 9:00 am youll be in and out the first we take care of" I ask for my money back and leave. I just cant beleieve I just sat in a f****** store for 3 and a half hours and no one took care of me no one even looked my way they didnt even touch my car I just wasted my christmas eve in a store and I wasnt even able to get anything done and I sacrificed plans to get this install done and I just wasted my day I just cant believe it I really really hope no one has to go through what I just did, just stay away from this garbage unprofessional store....

 

I wouldn't have gone there at all. They scratched up the other car so they obviously don't care about what they are doing .... at the end they lose business so their loss ... dont feel bad about the time .... my dad was stuck 9 hours on a plane in the middle of the airport at fort lauderdale and couldnt get off ... so there are a lot worse things that could happen ...

they could have installed the stuff and really messed up your car .... so good luck somewhere else....

 

well before you go to another place, did you buy modifry's DCI so you can use the controls next to the steering wheel?

you might want to pick that up first, while you at it, get his plug n play harness, makes the install a breeze

You're totally right I shouldn't have gone there but I figured ehhh I need it installed I've had everything lying around in boxes for a couple months so I just wanted it done and I always see high end cars there like bmws and corvettes and escalades etc... So I wanted to give it a shot, and ouch 9 hours just goes to show one should never complain someone can always have it worse I feel for your dad why the holdup though?

 

Actually I did pick up the DCI and the plug and play harness but for some odd reason now when I start the car and let's say it's nighttime and I turn my headlights on the speedometer that is supposed to light up it stays really dim so I don't know what went wrong there that's why I need a decent shop to do the rest of the install and fix this problem do you have the address to the audio logic?

 

My dad had an international flight from London to miami which is like eight hours or so ... they tried to land in miami but because of very bad weather they ended up landing in fort lauderdale .... they couldn't get off there because of some bs imigration non-sense ... then there is some type of law where the flight crew can only be on duty for like 10 of 12 hours or something like that ... .so british airlines had to send a new crew from miami to fort lauderdale to take over the flight to get it to miami ..... i was arrived at the airport at 1 pm to pick up my dad ...i didnt leave till 11 pm because of the delay ...... so i dont complain about time anymore .... the worse for me was being stuck on a plane for 2 & 1/2 hours in NY because of weather trying to fly to europe ... that sucked too ... oh well, thats life

Are you talking about the Autotronics in Sarasota? If you need someone to install a stereo, let me know. I have a friend with a shop here in town, he does awesome work. Has been featured in several magazines, etc.

 

I would definitly go see Gabriel Cu @ Best Buy Dadeland Station. Excellent work and a good friend. Has worked on all my cars and my customers cars as far as electronics
