Stereo Shops around Boca Raton?
Took 2-weeks and I can't take the stock stereo anymore. Figured I'd be able to tolerate this longer - no way. Debating on whether to do upgrade work myself or just have a shop do it. Any recommendations on a shop to install/buy the upgrades at? My tentative component list is:
HU: ALPINE CDA 9853or CDA 9855 (250-350)
Front: Ininity Kappa Perfect 6.1 (250 - 300)
Amp: Infinity Reference 7520a ($80)
Subwoofer: JL Audio 10w6v2-D@ with JL Audio 500/1 Amp

not a bad list of items, I have the 9851 in my beater and it is a great radio. I would guess the 53 or 55 would be even better. may end up with a 55 in the near future for my S, i think my 9835 has some issues. Once you choose a radio you will probably want one of modifry's DCI- this allow you to continue to use the factory radio controls on the left of the dash. S2kmarketplace sells them. I recommend the JL 5000/5. it has everything you might need in an amp including rear effect if you decide to get rear speakers.
I can't recomend a shop in boca, but I can recommend Audio Logic in Davie. Ask for Mike and tell him I sent you. If you just got your car contact kodokan4 and get some seat locks and get an alarm from audio logic
welcome to the club
