Default Audio setup

I'm looking to install a sound system but don't know anything about audio.

Could these work together:

-1 12 inch Alpine Type R subwoofer(in the trunk)
-1 Farad Capacitor (just in case?)
-1 Crunch Amp: 1200 watt 4-channel(or is 1100w 2-way better?)
-2 6x9 Alpine Type S speakers(in the doors)

What decent deck(radio) will work with the above??

Do I need anything else?

Could you also please suggest a "bang for the buck" full setup with two speakers in the doors, sub & amp in the back, and a radio.

Thank you!

Any headunit should work, and you don't need a capacitor. Don't forget wiring harness for the radio and amp wiring kit. I do audio installations for my friends and family, if they don't know what they want, I just get whatever cheapest headunit I could find with the features they want.
