one of the best part about living in FL is how relaxed this state is... Specially with cars...

I'm not sure what your age and status is but FL is a great place to live. West Palm Beach is a great area to live in (also expensive). I am not in IT but I am sure you won't have too much trouble finding something in that area. If you have IT experience in healthcare or financial services, you should be fine. Not sure what the differences in salary are but I would think they are abou the same. Cost of living and salary is much different in West Palm compared to say... Tallahassee.

WPB is nice just might be a little more pricier and definetly a lot older crowd (dunno how old you are). But the drive down to Ft. Lauderdale shouldn't be bad for the more younger crowd. Everything is easily accessible down here.

As someone else kinda mentioned there's a big seat theft problem down here so 1-Get Seat Locks, 2- Get an Alarm. 3-Get a Apartment/house with a GARAGE!! Muy Importante!

Also if you want more info Speak to Tommy ("MAV" On the boards) he moved last year from Miami to SoCal and he could probably help ya out...

The markets pretty good i would say..Theyre actually hiring here at my job, an IT tech here makes $15-$17 starting.
