Although these are the tires that come stock on Porsche's not to mention they are expenssive, i havent seen much positive feedback from them. I will say they are good for track, that i can agree on. But for a DD i think they are not practical. I have seen the side wall go on these and its not pretty, plus the thread life isnt as good, i believe they are 220 but not sure. Anyhow that MY view on it. Anyone here Used these?

PS2s last longer than RE-01Rs that last longer than RE050s (which lasted longer than my S02s when I had an Ap1)

All of this, of course, changes dramatically with driving style, conditions, setup, etc.

Driving with the PS2s this time through the Dragon definitely made me realize how quiet they were compared to my RE050s... (they talk a lot more). I didn't notice much noise with the PS2s until they were getting much closer to their limit (similar to the S02s). RE050s seemed like they started talking a lot earlier (and got progressively louder)....and from what I heard from others, the RE-01Rs are similar in that way as well.

I became confident on the dragon cause of my RE-01r's. The thread wear is 140, but they seem to be holding pretty well for almost 5 month with them.

I read great thing about the Direzza's and might try them out after my RE-O1R's go.

You can not compare tread wear ratings from one manufacturer to another.

Also if you search on here I think you will find a ton of positive feedback on the Michelin PS2s as well...

But as I said before, if my car were driven daily, I would find something cheaper. $1100 a clip for tires, is a lot.

PS2s are a great tire and last fairly long but much to expensive to use as DD.
