Default Two things...

I have two questions and there compleatly unrelated.

I wont be able to make the supermeet at the end of this month, only because i have a huge license exam which i gotta take and the studying is intense. I was wondering If there was anything of the sort lined up for april? Not necerraily to orlando, just a group drive or something. Im still looking for any excuse to get out and drive. Im just hoping everyone doent go and take a nap for a month after the supermeet. =)

Also, my next questions more technical then anything. I was wondering what your guys and gals Experience with V-tec controllers are. I wanted to bump up the redline on my 04', and lower the rpm which the vtec comes on as well. Any comments or point of views would be appreciated?

thank you very mucho

by your statement it shows you truley do know little. i have the Apex'i version and it is a great unit. as far as raising your redline. i'm sorry you can't do that with a vtec controller. you must buy an aftermarket ecu which has a higher set rev limit. lowering the vtec ingaugement is a great idea. i have mine set at 5400 into vtec and 5300 out. your out vtec must always be 100 lower then your in. when i have it dyno tuned i will lower it to 5000 in out 4900 out. hope this helps.

It could cause reliability issues in the long run. You can work on other things that won't cause as much stress on the engine as lowering your Vtec engagement point. Do a search, there has being several threads about the issue and there you could get more solid information.
Like BlueS2000Boy said you will need tunning to make it right.

Sonic, there's still time to sign up for the Dragon! What's that? It's a super twisty section of highway that connects western NC to eastern TN. There's going to be a group of us (So Fla & Fla S2k-ers) heading up there. Check out the DragonBall Run thread under the "special interests" section for more info.

If you're looking for something not quite that far away, there's nothing planned yet, but I hear there are a few things in the works. Don't worry, we won't leave ya hanging!

I agree with Jerseygirl. I am going up for Wake the Dragon also. I have heard there are close to 60-70 S2000 registered for the event. Three days of driving the S! I can't wait!

Check the thread like Jerseygirl said. There may still be time to register.

Good luck!

Thanks about the info on the dragon, I read about that, but again it falls into this month being the crappiest month in the world for me to do anything...but ill look into it none the less.

About the vtec controller, It seems like a very viable option. I heard that hondata can do both the lowering of my vtech , and the highering of my redline just with some re-programing of my ECU. Anyone familiar with this ...this maybe be the best, and most efficient way to reach both my goals.
