Underwater Basket Weaving?
Since we have a new post every other day gauging interest in a new and exciting activity I figured I'd do my part. Allow me to introduce to you:
Underwater basket-weaving is a process of making wicker baskets which involves dipping reeds or stalks of plants into (or, as the name suggests, under) water and allowing them to soak. This process will provide a very supple and flexible reed which can then be woven into a basket given enough time. The baskets then will be allowed to dry and provide a sturdy container. For example, some kinds of basket-weaving are done with the canes submerged in water from the Arabian sea to preserve suppleness. The weaver is generally not fully immersed using scuba gear or otherwise.
Who's in for a group drive to the Arabian Sea?

I thought you already had a snorkel? How else would you breathe with all this rain is coming through your driver's side window?

Just to bring everyone up to date.....my driver side window motor/regulator decided it wanted to die last night as I was on my way to Alex's house. The window just dropped down into the panel and would not come back up. As it turns out, it's the cable that snapped so I have to replace the whole motor/regulator.....yippee....fun!!! Alex and I rigged the window last night, cuban style....we placed two 2x4's inside the panel to keep the window propped up. It's working quite well. Lol.
However, the inside of my car looks dismantled as I have the interior panel, speaker and other little pieces on my passenger seat.
It's all good, though. MidnightS found the part I needed online and I have already ordered it. Happy ending.
