It now appears there is a chance that it will be opened for limited access on 4/16... Heres to HOPING!!!

 

As crowed as the Dragon has gotten over the past few years, and....the increased rate of Tennesee Police, frankly, its the other roads that we take that make this a weekend for rememberence. That, and the poeple that support it. There are no disappointments ..................ever!!

Fontana won't let me change the arrival day for my reservation.. if i go up w/ you guys.. i'm out like 80 or so bucks...

Also... timing is gonna be rough to hit that spot at the time you are passing thru....

I'm gonna try to hit blue ridge this time out...

seems as though the dragon will be open 8am-8pm by the time we get there.. road blocked just before we get to the foothills though.. so we can't actually make it to alcoa/maryville...

 

So how was it?

 

It was a blast. I didn't see daworm all weekend. I did see a totaled bike. Also an orange Honda fit totaled on sat afternoon. It looked pretty bad.

 

Twas great...
Had an emergency back here in miami.. so i only had friday to do my thang....

I did ride the dragon twice and 28 a few times...

14 hours back on Saturday...

But I did get to do the dragon a twice...

I also did 28 to deals a coupla times...

and hellbender...

It was fun... I would have liked more time though...
