Thumbs up Wave Runner info...

Currently I'm doing some research on Wave Runners but since my knowledge about them is very little I thought I might ask the guys and gals (Di) in here that have some knowledge and can give me some advice.

So far what I have collected and what Im looking for...

* So far Im hooked on the SeaDoo The RXT iS 255.
* Yamaha also has the FX SHO which is pretty neat.
* Hondas only TurboCharged model is my third choice.
* I have read that SeaDoo is very good with performance but unreliable.
* Also I have been told that if I want balance to get a 2 seater so i could enjoy some jumps also.
* How much is a used in well condition single trailer?
* Which brand is known to be the most dependable and easy to maintain?

Discuss...

Thanks.

What's the difference in the hull? Does it let you cut through harder and faster?

Get the Yamaha... The new FX SHO have a new lighter hull design. They have had great reviews in the magazine too. I've never owned a SeaDoo, but I know they are fast, but they also have some issues. I base my recommendation off what I read and the quality of my Yamaha boat engine.

I wouldn't buy a Honda again, even though mine was pretty good. Since they switched to the Powerhouse concept the only dealer is Rick Case in Weston, which is a pain in the ass if you need service. Plus the side that does jetskis has a bunch of incompetent, unscrupulous morons working for them.

1. Yamaha
2. Sea-Doo
This would be my choice. The reliablity on Yamaha's is much better. I use to work for a dealer and Sea-Doo's are always in with problems. I also use to own sea-doo's and I think the older ones were better but in the end your decision. If I were goin to buy one I would buy the new Yamaha that comes with an HKS supercharger on it.

I can't imagine that FX SHO. I've been on a run-of-the-mill VX a couple of times, and that seemed like plenty of oomph. No problem hitting 50mph in clean water (with 2 riders), and you could throw it into any turn you wanted and it just dug in.
