Lookin good Phill...

Jsmply, you could try the Mr. Clean auto dry car wash system. Thats what i use and imho it works great!
Well that might work to keep away new spots when washing the car, but my problem is that I have water spots that came from getting hit with sprinkler water for a few days . . . and thats what I can't get rid of.

What area of so-fla are you at? I've been dying to get together with a detailer that actually knows what they are doing. I've bought some decent rags and waxes and such when I got my car painted . . . but seems like everytime I try to detail it I just end up with more swirls and less of the desired result.
Where did you buy those "decent" rags and waxes?

You guys need to visit the Wash n Wax forum.

The only way to remove the water spots you still have after claying is to polish. But its not that simple, there are many steps and techniques involved and the only way is to educate yourself on the subject.

The #1 step is:

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING AT THE AUTOPARTS STORE FOR ANY OF YOU DETAILING NEEDS

You get what you pay for. PERIOD. The products sold in the stores are low quality products.

The only products worth buying are 3-4 products:
Gold Class Shampoo
Clay Bars
Lexol leather cleaner/conditioner

That's about it.

The MAIN thing is education on detailing and technique to avoid swirls, cobb-webbing, hazing, holograms ect.

WAXES DO NOT FIX YOUR SCRATCHES OR SWIRLS. That is a misconception.

Educate your selves:

Teach us! I've given up . . . yesterday I tried one last time with some higher pressure water and let it stay wet for a while as I found a thread in the wash and wax section about dislodging some of the water spots by doing so . . . it really didn't do anything. The car still looks like swiss cheese under lights. Dario do any of the local detailing places know what they are doing that are worth taking it to?

Thanks for your post on the previous page by the way. Helpful info.
