Teach us! I've given up . . . yesterday I tried one last time with some higher pressure water and let it stay wet for a while as I found a thread in the wash and wax section about dislodging some of the water spots by doing so . . . it really didn't do anything. The car still looks like swiss cheese under lights. Dario do any of the local detailing places know what they are doing that are worth taking it to?

Thanks for your post on the previous page by the way. Helpful info.

It's really not that hard guys, the Porter Cable does most of the work for you. You just have to dedicate at least 6 hours.

Here is an awsome instructional vid by Mike Phillips on how to wash your car:

Yes, but I rather use a synthetic sealant like Klasse, then wax. Klasse acts like a wax but 10X better. It bonds to the surface and protects the clear coat and paint. It has UV rating and seals in the surface away from the harmful enviorment. It will last 12 months. Wax only lasts 1-3 months depending where you live.

I like to use the Klasse then I top it off with P21S Wax.

Dario how about you just invite us to watch next time you detail your car, we'll bring popcorn and beer. I think you are overestimating some of our washing ability. I'd bet I could get the engine out of my car and back in before I got the water spots and swirls out, lol.

Seriously though thanks for the links, I'll look into them and might pay Luke a visit.
