We did it!!

We got the gold, now we are the team that represents the State of Florida at the national competition in Kansas City at the end of June. Go Florida!!

3D Visualization and Animation Skills USA state competition. My teams won all three medals GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE in the regionals but only the GOLD for the State goes to the Nationals in Kansas City. If they win the Nationals the get a full paid scholarship to any college of their choosing plus a whole computer system and top animation software

 

so...what is a good computer system now for rendering and modeling. Is Silicon Graphics still pimpin or have the macs and PC's closed the gap?

what is industry standard these days as far as software. Is maya still getting it done or has then been better programs since maya. it has been years since I fiddled in this field.

I was working with Infini-d, 3dstudio max, crystal topas (old school for real) years ago....LOL
