When I first found the s2ki website it was to get a few questions answered before I bought the S2000, so I created the screen name 'hopeful owner'. After the purchase, I was no longer a hopeful owner, so I needed to change the name. I was living in Detroit at the time, so that is what I went with. Now that I don't live there, I like the screen name even more. Brings back good memories.

CCS is a great school. About a year and a half ago they had a student design contest with Honda for the next generation S2000. The designs were crazy. This would have been around November '05 if you were still there. I lived off Woodward and 75 next to the stadiums. I still miss the Town Pump. Listening to Trick Trick "Welcome to Detroit" brings me home.

Yeah, I was already in miami when they had that s2000 project, but I got to see some of the entries. Not bad stuff

Woodward and 75 was right down the street from me. I had a ton of friends at the lafayette lofts, just around there.

town pump
the majic stick
pizza populous
lafayette coney island

right there is the best of detroit IMO

what were you doing in town?

It depends on where they are located. I hear some of them even go as low as $79/day with unlimited miles.

I live in West Palm now, have for the last year. I lived downtown Detroit for 2.5 years before I moved down here. I lived in the Crosswinds condos in Brush Park, right across from the stadiums. Only got a gun pulled on me once, not bad for as many drunk nights I spent walking around downtown. Coney Island FTW! By the way, I was back in the D for Christmas and Town Pump has gone downhill. All the hot bartenders left. There's a new place next door called Centaur that took them all.
