WTD 09
We need to get serious on who,s going and who isnt going and i need to know ASAP. Me and josh were talking last night and we need to jump on a cabin quick. The cabin is roughly $212.00 a night. 3 bedroom 2 bathroom. we will be staying for 3 nights. thats $636.00 for the 3 nights well be there. The more ppl we get to go and stay in our cabin the least money everyone needs to put down. Also if you plan on going to the dragon PLEASE go and register. Its a $75.00 registration fee...it covers 2 dinners, a magnet, a WTD linyard, and a WTD09 T-Shirt. you dont have to register to go to this event BUT it would be nice if you did. Alot of people go out of there way to set this up for us and its a small contribution to these guys for all their hard work on putting this togther for us so please REGISTER. I myself plan on getting a cabin March 5th. SO PLEASE if your going and want to put in for josh and myselfs cabin POST ASAP so we know a figure for everyone to put in.
This event will be held on april 23, 24, 25, i will be leaving Wensday morning. Josh i believe will be leaving wensday night. My plan is to drive as far as i can wensday, stop and get a hotel and making the rest of the drive thursday. Josh will be leaving wensday night after his final and most ppl after work and driving till they get tired, stop get a hotel then drive the rest thursday. We will leave sunday morning from the dragon to miami. Now this is a option for those who dont think you can handle a str8 shot back to miami sunday ( I highly recommend you dont. I myself stop in orlando sunday night and drive the rest monday). I will have a meet probly 2 weeks prior to the dragon for more details. As for right now this seems to be the plan. I also will have a list of things you should do to your car and a list of things to have very soon up for everyone to go over and probly have a tech day at my house a week prior to this event. I was thinking about going. Because of work I need to leave Sunday early and driving back in one long stint. How long is the drive back? Since you have done it in the past how accurate is googles 13 hr. estimate?

Jim i have nevr took the long drive home but if im not mistaken SFL crew that did it in one shot last year said it was like something in the ball park of 17hrs. i have always took 2 days to come back after that long weekend at the dragon and partying and waking up earily everyday a str8 shot is a long shot but it can be done. i just dont recommend it.
and another note i highly recommend a Nuvii GPS...you can get the basic model for about $160.00 we usually have about 3 to 4 ppl with one on this trip.
