there was an incident a couple events ago where there was a flat late at night on a section of highway with no lights..

the driver in question was a bit spooked... flares would have been helpful cause cars were passing and couldn't see him.

when we went on the rescue mission (we split the second group)... we located the tire here in miami.. and I drove it to gainsevillle with droptop who located a shope to mount it.

the remainder of the second group caught up to us like 5 hours later...

in short.. flares r good where there r no lights....
