Anyone know if TMP will let you on the track with a cracked windshield?

TMP does not do a Tech Inspection, so unless it's really obvious, I doubt you would have a problem.

The last time I was there, with Nick, when one of his wheels came apart, the kid with the flags had no idea what to do, and it fell on myself and another guy to red flag the session and get a truck out to help Nick.

So it's basically a 'free for all' out there.

Yeah pretty much. I was in the truck with the guy going to throw on the spare and he still didn't know why the track was red flagged.
Some clown driving a Beamer was flying right by my at full rip.

They let Nick drive w/ only 3 wheels, so that says it all.

There are no marshalls, and I don't know if the flag guy at the pit out would hold up under scrutiny in an event of an insurance claim. They let guys ride without helmets, and arguably worse still, they'll let a guy with a helmet sit with a guy without a helmet.

So yeah, your cracked windshield probably wouldn't be noticed. The only safety concern I would have, and I don't know for sure, is what the shattering characteristics for a cracked windshield would be (i.e., would it be changed and therefore, would your risk of decapitation be higher?). I'm actually being serious - that's the reason why you don't roll down your windows part way when tracking - the glass is meant to shatter in a specific way.

Anyone going Wednesday evening? I should be there with Dino and his S2000
MONDA gets the tires mounted today and should be ready to break a personal best or another rim.

I strongly suggest NOT going with a cracked windshield. If you drive like me (ie: chomp on curbs), your windshield has a much higher chance of cracking much more. TMP's track is also not perfectly smooth either so you car's twisting can snap that windshield even more now that it has a fracture.
