hmm.. mixed feelings about this one

adobe owns multimedia and internet documents
macromedia owns the internet multimedia/design

I just hope that Macromedia still exists as a 'seperate entity' and they don't try and merge all apps into a common interface.....

I think some stuff will fall by the wasteside. They'll probably get rid of Freehand, Fireworks and on the Adobe side GoLive.

cool... but doesn't seem like a good fit for adobe imo... like osc says, they're in the documents market, while macromedia is almost exclusively SMB internet publishing market

wonder what the long term vision is here...
