Default Aligning Headlights

Honda just called me and says I need to pay them $95 dollars to align my headlights because they're aftermarket. Funny thing is I never did anything to the headlights and I told them THEY delivered the car like that to me. Then their excuse was that I waited too long to have them check it out.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get it done cheaper and done correctly?

I've always wondered why my lights were more purple than my two other friend's cars.

Isn't the purple due the the bulb itself not the alignment?

Too purple? That's a bulb issue - nothing can be adjusted there without replacing bulbs.

If you're talking about adjusting the beam pattern, you can easily do that yourself.

Nono... the light looks more purple-ish but the alignment is definitely off. My two other friends hate driving infront of me because one side is obviously shooting a lot higher than the other side.

Rob: They're telling me the bumper needs to be taken off. Do I need to do that? Thanks.

That's easy to fix. all you need is a wrench and a wall. Search through Under The Hood and there is a really good link to aligning your headlights.

Dealerships really don't know anything!

What dealership told you this?
