Ugh sorry I've been too busy to get a shot off today.

What I did is close.

I dawn'd, I clay'd

I used 3m Swirl Mark Remover on the Porter Cable white pad ( I need the orange more aggressive for one spot)(cat stepped on it and a minor scratch), man what a difference, any spider webbing I had is gone, looks like friggin glass.

Next, I learned the magic of Water and alcohol..amazing for clearing bits of shit cleaners off. It also makes the pads cutting more aggressive, so I squirted a bit on the pad at one point and man it made the swirl go away. Anyhow it cleans the surface of the SMR a bit and off to Zaino land I go.

3 shots of Z2 and then finally buffed it out with the white pad (clean), then a shot of Z6 and off to S100 paste.

My lord, the stuff is good when put on by hand, but then when you take it off and then polish over with an MF bonnet....oh man.

The gloss was so high I couldn't stand to look at it in the sun, never had that with straight Zaino..had the sunburns before but this is a whole new level of shine.

Now that I'm fairly skilled with this PC its amazing.

Oh yeah Marco, the SMR for Light or Dark cars is kinda bogus, the only difference is the level of gloss in the paste, which doesn't matter as you're going to build over it anyhow with a sealant.

I have plenty

Z7 is sucktacular anyhow, Dennis doesn't care he's not pushy.

The porter cable is the very right thing to do this crap with, I think I have the greatest results ever with what I did this weekend.

I know when I get this new pad everyone is raving over I'll take it back down again and re-do..it'll be even better.

It doesn't make the job any easier I found, I clay, I SMR with the PC (new step) then Zaino, then S100..its a lot of work.
