Happy holidays everyone,

I finally took the plunge and picked up a Y2K S2K in Silverstone/Black last Friday and just wanted to officially say "Hi" as a new owner. Looking forward to meeting up with you sometime, and seeing some of your mods. Especially interested in hearing some aftermarket exhausts in person.

One question:

Which dealer(s) do you recommend (or not recommend) for warranty work? I may have to bring my car in for the 2nd gear grind TSB, and want to be sure it's done right.

First off Welcome!

Winter meets probably aren't too apt to happen for a while . Only a few people drive them year round...and they're nuts

And get the work done before spring, the last thing you want is the car laid up even a day when its nice out. Not sure where to go as I don't live in Toronto or GTA really, unless you stretch the "Greater" to its limits. You can call dealers and ask them for their customer satisfaction numbers on service. If it sucks go elsewhere.

I have always recommended Formula Honda. A bit of a trip from Mississauga - but worth it. They will definitely take care of you.

Speak to the service manager Scott, and tell him I referred you.

DoGMaN - I guess that makes me nuts! I got Pirelli 210 SnowSports installed the day I picked up my car. How many of us actually do drive year-round?

1badride - I'm north of Square One. There's actually a yellow S2K around the corner from me, but I've only ever seen the car parked outside, never the driver. Maybe (s)he's here too... And I'll check our Formula - is that the one on Markham Road and Finch? I have to say I wasn't impressed by their sales department, though.

The craziest one is Nimesh..he has an Audi S8 and he still drives his S2k all winter....INSANE I say.

I probably would drive if I didn't get a tonne of snow all winter long and didn't have salt all over everything. Nimesh thinks I'm nuts ....I am but not on that level.
