I would rather not get the seat locks. More then likely if a their slashes your top or breaks your window to discover that you have locks on, they will be frustrated and just slash your seats. Id rather them just take the seats so my car gets written off or I get new seats/top/window.

I disagree, out of principle if you keep it easy for thieves, they will keep stealing.

Not like most thieves are expecting there to be seatlocks or are even looking for seatlocks. Once the damage to your top and window have been done they might as well be able to take your seats. If they slash em you will need to get new ones anyways.

I guess I don't care very much. I have an alarm, wheel locks. Alarm because I wanted the remote starter and I might as well add an alarm while I am at it and wheel locks because they came with the car. I drive the car topless everywhere and park it everywhere without the top for obvious reasons...no problems here and if there are, that is what insurance is for.

I wouldn't want my car to be a write off, it would be a headache to find one the way I like it.

You're paying the deductible either way.

If they slash them you can have them re-skinned by buying OEM skins, cheaper then the seat itself and might save your car from being a salvage.

Definitely some good points. I didn't know you could buy just the OEM skins. I wonder if they have the skins for the CR seats. I guess I wouldn't mind paying the deductible since I wouldn't care to buy the same car again if it was written off.

All i know is if someone steals my seats and i have to buy new ones out of my pocket....(or deductable that is) Ill get some BRIDEs...and some seat locks. I have a feeling tho...my custom covered seats aren't going to be stolen their good.. but not OEM quality.

My interior is all red so it'd be hard to find seats that match, this is why I am always over cautious about my car.
