Break in period..DONE!
Yes today was the day! Finally hit 4 digits on my km's.
Must say..i am still in awe and could only find myself doing two things..giggling and pushing down the gas pedal
This car is truly amazing and it makes me 500 times more satisfied with my purchase. The car is everything i could ever hope for!

Break-in period?
Hmm, there were 2 schools of thought: the RTFM version of gently upping the revs and the other is push hard for the first few hundred clicks to properly seat the rings -- I went w/ the latter version -- I VTEC'd through the first 2 gears the moment I got on the highway after picking up the car from the dealership - its more fun that way.
56k km later, no oil consumption / engine / tranny problems whatsoever...
Didn't matter though, I passed the 'recommended' break-in period in one weekend anyways, put close to 1000 km in 3 days.
Good thing this was back when gas was cheap.
