Default Can-Alignment

Hey folks, just wanted to comment on a recent experience today with Scott at Can-Alignment.
My poor S2000 had some trouble with alignments, due to some stubborn adjustment bolts. Two shops had previously tried to do an alignment on my car and failed saying everything was seized up.

Well Scott was able to free up the difficult hardware in no time, replace the bolts with new ones I provided from a recent part out car, and save my lower control arms, no need to replace them, then after all that gave me a custom alignment! I'd just like to thank Scott for the outstanding work, entertaining stories from the track and outstanding fast service he provided me today for a very reasonable price! If anyone is in the west end, I highly recommend this humble little shop to anyone needing work done to their S2000 or any car for that matter(even if you live in the GTA its well worth the drive out of the city away from the chaos)

On a side note, today on the other hoist was a '32 Buick Cabriolet with an E-Type Jag rear end and a '86 Corvette drive train, VERY cool!

Sweet! I've been wanting to head over to his shop for an alignment, but it's hard to make time to get out there... Which bolts did he replace exactly? How did he free up the seized parts? How long did the entire alignment take? Did he share the specs with you?

3 Bolts total, both camber adjustments in the front and driver side castor bolt. He used brute force an air hammer, and a saws all. It took about 3 hours of time to do the entire process, from where I live it only took about 27 min to drive there. Specs were requested by me and set to said specifications, he wrote final numbers on a sheet of paper and gave it to me. Awesome service.
He can do an S2000 alignment in about 1 hour if there are no seized bolts.

What did you set your rear toe to now? Whatever it was before, it just ate your tires. I'm gonna try getting my next alignment there I think, but I want to know the specs I get.

When Scott checked the toe in the rear he said they were at 3/4 of an inch. Last shop i was at said they set it to 1/16th total, however it was way off and destroyed my rears. now its 1/8th total in the rear 0 front.

Good to hear you got your alignment woes sorted out. Keep in mind - avoid those potholes at all cost. You'd be suprised at the small bumps that cause a setting to get skewed.
Scott has been kind enough to support our community for the past... 3... 4 years now? Offering great aligment and corner balancing.
For those worrying about the settings you will get... Just tell him how you drive or what you want out of the car. He has had enough alignment experience that he can sort the car out for you on the hoist.

He's the one and only person who will ever do an alignment on my car. Well worth the drive to his place.
