cars are pissing me off...........
HONDA.......
yesterday morning: parked the car at the office (roof down), get out, walk away, forgot my cellphone (i clip it to the driverside visor), walk back to the car, reach over to grab it and notice this god awful gap between teh roof structure and rear panel.....i unlock the car, open the door and all the trim pieces in and around the door rear panels are misaligned.....i had been getting a squeek/rattle/rubbing noise since i picked up the last week from the dealer, but thought that maybe i didn't have my seating position in the same position that i always have it (manual, non-memory seats are a bitch).
took it in today and gave them shit......should be ready at end of day.
AUDI..........
took the car in last week for it's 16K service.....they did a bunch of stuff (performed service, put new rotors/pads all around, replace 2 bent wheels, reprogram HVAC, activated rear power seats, etc.)....
a couple of days ago, check engine light comes on....no idea why....car's in the shop again (wife got an S4 as a loaner). at least everything's free with the audi.....
i think i may look into a metropass.........

I really don't understand how you have the patience to actually "DRIVE" downtown. I've only done it a few times and every time I do it reminds me why taking the subway is much more convenient and less stressful...

what i meant is, my house is a minute from the 407, and my office is a minute from the gardiner.
