What do you think of my proposal?
We keep it on the 19th, go to a decent restaurant that isn't overly expensive and fairly central for everyone.
Then when Doug comes to town, those who want can get together again, go for steaks, strippers, shenanigans, whatever.
Sounds good?

nothing wrong with it....but, the point was to go to a nice place so the the "other-half" could feel like they were actually being taken out....
my wife isn't going to want to end up at kelsey's for an x-mas dinner.....nor should she.

Okay, so suggest a middle-upper place.
It's just that there is a wide variety of people we're trying to accomodate here.
And hell, anything is better than that Hooter's stop we made . . .

what do YOU consider to be middle-upper??
i classify the keg as middle-upper - you're still looking at 50 bucks there.
an appetizer is $7, a steak is $25, a drink is $6 = $38 + 15% taxes + 15% tip = $50
anyway, you're organizing - MAKE A DECISION....people have already given you their input as to their preferences.

Octagon:
<http://www.tordine.com/reviews/theoctagon.html>
parking seems in an abundance, but I'm not letting any valet park my car ? is there a general lot for our cars ?
Morton's:

The only parking is downtown lot across the street.
Since we're suggesting downtown venues, why don't we also consider
Harbor Sixty

Rosewater Supper Club
<http://tordine.com/cgi-bin/moreinfo.cgi?se...2719+Toronto+St'>
Hy's

all nice places .. however, will they accept mike's and mine blow up dolls as dates ?
