Default Civic Type R

Curious if any s2k owners picked up a new TypeR?
Please post review if possible.

Thanks,

Chris

We do have a Southern Ontario member who picked one up. Hopefully he'll chime in here

I've been checking in everyday for a review. Wanted the opinion of a fellow s2k owner/driver. Dealership has a black on for me right now but will have a champ white one for spring delivery if I wait... Seems like a lot of bread for a hype r but they seem to be selling above msrp on the private market right now...

MSRP is 42k for MY17's. I believe it's going to 43k for next years deliveries.
Craigslist/Kijiji price seems to be around 50k.
Champ white is the only way to go.

Wow thats crazy! Wouldn't you rather get a NSX for almost the same money if you wanted another Honda?

Hey thanks man! All is well in sunny SoCal. It's nice to not have to put my car away for the winter and there are so many track events! Once I get a bit more situated I'm debating either picking up a S2000 or Corvette for a track rat car.

How's everyone back north???

Are there any dealers in the GTA selling the TypeR? I asked around and nobody actually had one on their lot.

it is quite likely that every TypeR being sold has someone waiting for it- they have likely put a deposit down at the dealership and are just waiting to get a call. Talk to a dealership. show your serious and put a deposit down to get yourself in line. I doubt there is one just sitting there awaiting a buyer on a showroom floor. Maybe you'll find a dealer willing to honour the agreement and hold the price if you have to wait for 2018 stock.

let's hope canada gets some more colour options- i like that slate grey.

Exactly whats going on. I found that deposit amount varied by dealership... anywhere from 500 to 5k. There are a few for sale privately for higher than MSRP but you're going to have a tough time finding one a dealership that isn't already spoken for... You're best bet is to call the largest dealerships.
