True, although I could see spending $2 - 3K on a watch it would be tough to justify $12 even if I had money growing on trees.....

it's my motto in life.
no one's gonna give you anything....YOU have to earn it yourself.
on a side note, was talking to some co-workers about winning a million bucks...re: the mark cuban reality show.
i told them it wouldn't make an ounce of difference in my life.....$1 million doesn't get you much - think about it.
they thought i was nuts until i turned the tables and asked them what would they do with the money?
then they understood.....

Re. Watches, I agree, its not to tell time, I have clocks everywhere I go, so why do I even need a watch?
