Default Dinner Friday (july 16)

Dinner Friday July 16 2004

Location: The Keg Barrie
Time: 7pm
Directions:400N to the 2nd dunlop exit. Follow dunlop over the hwy and its past the first set of lights on the left.

Ok what's the deal for dinner?

I went out for food and beer with dave tonight and he's in the dark as am I.

Are we going to have dinner up in barrie since most of us will be in that location? Simon, are you staying at the travelodge friday night?

Or will it be at the Keg? If we have it at the Keg it should be for 8pm since the crew wants to come back to the hotel before dinner.

If no decision is made everyone staying at the travelodge will probably eat in the barrie area instead.

Jay..

just got in .. reading post now..

I"'m hoping to be at the Travelodge around 9-10pm tomorrow nite..

We can go to the Keg for dinner around 8-8:30pm at the 401 and leslie location, then we can "convoy" back to the Travelodge from there ?

Once I don't arrive too late and miss my "check in"

Doesn't matter to me, but seems to make more sense to stay in Barrie.

There is yet another Ottawan coming, Don.

Simon, I don't think there is a checkin deadline.

I've checked in at 2am before at other places.

So the Keg at 401/leslie for 8-8:30pm

That will give us plenty of time to check out speedstar the CNTower and come back to the hotel before dinner.

That's what I'm thinking. Probably better to stay in barrie but It's up to you guys.

I believe you guys have to come back to the hotel after we visit the tower.

EDIT: Dinner in barrie is fine.. There are lots of places to go. There is a Keg in barrie thats right off the hwy easy to get to right around the corner from the travelodge.

May I also suggest parking the car at Yorkdale, getting on the TTC and head southbound to Union station to the CN Tower ? The FRIDAY AFTERNOON traffic will be murderous.. trust me I'm downtown everyday.. then hike it back northbound on the TTC..

Thats what I was going to have them do instead of parking DT. Yorkdale is a good idea.

So what will it be? Dinner in barrie?
