I wouldn't call that an accident. I would call it manslaughter.

Involuntary manslaughter is still an accident. It's negligence....

Always.

Sometimes, I wonder if there is no God.
I see the oppose.. There is a God if the Drunk driver lives. This way he has lifetime ahead of him to suffer for killing a family through his selfish ignorance.

We'll see how this plays out but from my experience you can buy yourself out of almost any situation, just depends on how much money you got.

His family has $1.8 Billion , suffice to say he will get good legal counsel, but he can't avoid the law. I guess his wedding will be put on hold ?.

and for everything else, there's Mastercard. Something tells me he is going to get a relatively light punishment with a lot of community service.

You assume they feel guilt. I, on the other hand, assume they've gotten over the hump of the first kill and now it's not as bad.

A lot of drunk drivers get back and do it all over again. I want to get the stats to back that up but I can't find it right now.

Something sorta backs that up.

I hate drunk driving. Was DD after a wedding and one of my buddies totally passed out after we dropped off the first guy and he wanted to drive himself back. I almost got into a fist fight with the guy - better his blood on my fist than someone else's on my soul.
