Ecu Question!
Lets say i buy a ECU thats made in Japan such as AMUSE or MPF ECU or Mugen (although i heard its really hard to buy MUGEN ECU without a Racing licence over in Japan)
Are these ECU programmed for 100 octane?
As you are all aware best octane level in Canada is 94...
How would this 6 octance level lose effect the performance of the ECU? Could the ECU self Reset?
And one thing i wonder all cars in Japan are capped at 180Kms
are these Aft.Mrkt. ECUs going to be Maxed out at 180Kms
I've also heard many storys of Aft. Mrkt. ECU resetting after certain amount of time. IS THIS TRUE?
Anybody in TORONTO have AMUSE ECU? or FEEL's Or J's?
And is our ECU chip'able'?
Thanks for your time.
Cheers!

Spoon AP1 has the amuse and I had Mugen
both require 92+ octane...100 octane is not necessary. The car will definately perform better with 100 octane, but 92 octane is good enough to run the ECU (you must also have rad.cap, fan switch, and theromstat).
Speed limiter of amuse/Mugen ECU is elimated
Rev limiter is the same for Mugen ECU, and 9200 for amuse
both cannot be reset and not chipable/
