F1 news: Ralf out for rest of season , Gene In..
Ralf Schumacher looks to be out for the rest of the 2004 World Championship after tests in Germany revealed the Williams driver had suffered two broken vertebra in his Indy crash.
"The diagnosis is a hammer blow," Schumacher admitted to German newspaper Die Bild. "The injury is worse than we originally feared, but there is nothing I can do now but try to get through it. I am already looking forward to the moment where I can sit in the car again.

F1 Live reported he MIGHT be back in the car near the end of the season, but I suspect they are being a bit optomistic...
I think it will be very interesting to see how he drives next year, this is a long time to not get back on the hourse after having been thrown from it.
So, how good is Gene and can he play better with Montoya?
