Default forgot to mention......

i had my new tires put on over the weekend....and hot damn, they're awesome!!!!

got the newly introduced toyo T1-R's.....

compared to S-03's: slightly squarer shoulder section, section width seems the same (or a few mm less)....perfect for my 18" set-up.

i've only put about 200km on them since sat. morning.....but i've taken them to my usual low grip areas around richmond hill....and they stick like no other street tire i've had to date on an S2000.

there is this one specifically bad off-camber right hander exiting the can tire at yonge/16th....the rear end has been breaking loose (1st gear, on power) there for 5+ years now....doesn't matter the tire or size or brand....always used to happen....did it twice on saturday and nothing but grip!!!

same thing driving on some highway ramps over the weekend...car felt so stable...uncanny.

ride is awesome...smooth, poised, not jittery....quietest tire i've ever had too!!

cheaper than S-03's...i highly recommend them!

Considering them for the MINI....they seem to be excellent from all I've read.

Too bad they don't come in stock (pre 04) sizes

I'm waiting for a certain mooch to price them for me.

I'd have really raped everyone on Friday with decent tires.

RAPED

I think treadwear is 300..I'm pretty sure its decent for the type of tire.

FWD shunt wd..... You guys didn't have traction control, I ran without it..and it was just as greasy with my shitty runflats as it was with S02's.

Mine were newer granted...but suck in ways even you can't imagine.
