Hey guys, not a rep for Tom Tom or anything, but I thought this was worth a post.

Just bought the TomTom VIA 1435LMT for my wife. On sale for like 160 at Best Buy.
Man it's kick ass.
Voice control that actually works.
Maps look good
lane assist is animated
Lifetime maps and traffic.

I used to be a Garmin guy, but this really blows my Garmin out of the water.

Wish I could have been at the Speedstar day! Looking forward to the pics!

I have the tom-tom app for my iPhone. Works flawless. Was $50 but I use it probably 2-3 times a week for a year now and I always have it with me.

I was gonna get that too.
But I was worried it would nuke the battery life?
Does it and does the program use data too?
