had every intention of coming down, but my youngest daughter had her first baby today, my second
grandchild, and the first girl, so even the lure of lapping with you folks was not quite enough to keep me from holding a newborn. I'm sure you'll understand

Thursday September 7th - Rained before 4 - Tim took the Tractor and brushed the Technical Ciruit - they ran the Technical Circuit Counter Clockwise - Track was damp at first with some puddles in the corner - it was a challenge and Fun running in these conditions in the Atoms with slicks - we got in four rounds before the rain returned. No Type R Civics yet.
We return with the Ariel Atoms next Thursday September 14th from 4-8.

Great night, last Thursday September 14th, Perfect Weather. Good turnout of cars including a Exocet.
We ran the Technical Circuit Clockwise and got in lots of runs with our Atoms. There were no S2000s and still no sign of a Civic Type R.
We return on Thursday September 28th from 4-8 and then are back for the 9-5 Saturday Track Days on October 7th and October 14th.

Please preregister for the Final Car Lapping Event of 2017 at Grand Bend Raceway - this Saturday October 14th. Todd Bennett in a Atom SRA, Grand Galloway Civic SI and i Atom SRA are entered. I believe Paul Cudmore will have his S2000 out.
No Civic Type Rs have run at the Bend to date. Will we see a Type R On Track this Saturday?
The S2000 turnout has been lower this year than in the past. Earlier in the year I tried to get a S2000 Shootout going but there didn't seem to be any interest.
Saturday should be Fun - 9 to 5.
