good... time to move on to GSM...

i recall a carrier in the States let you carry your number when you switch provider... that's the way it should be
Well changing carriers is absolutely NOT an option. I have Verizon because they work for my life.

Sure there are other providers in Rochester, but their ability to provide widespread coverage in NYS is really not all that great. I'm play in extremely rural areas whith huge hills and valleys, around here if you want to be outside of the city and able to get calls Verizon is the best choice. You guys who live in Canada's largest city just don't have these challenges.

The phones listed are my only real options...

I think an option to consider for a phone would be bluetooth connectivity as well, depending on whether or not you are interested in embracing this technology in a vehicle in the future?
Cool.
I'll look through those phones and eliminate the ones that do not offer bluetooth.
Thx!

Actually I think Verizon is selling a Razr this quarter.

You may want to call and ask them. I know they have one on deck, I just can't remember when and I don't have their roadmap in front of me today.

Hasn't it always been called a roadmap? I remember back 10 years or so, looking at Intel's roadmaps.........
