Help me find a new "used" Honda S2000...no good ones out there?

Why would it be risky to buy one from the states? I have purchased my last 4 cars from the states. I never buy a car without having it inspected by an independent shop who takes paint depth measurements for me. These are the kinds of comments that scare away people from taking advantage of the deals south of the border. I am currently in the PPI phase of a purchase for an 06 NFR with 7k miles for $21k with a clean carfax. If it the PPI with the bodyshop and mechanic goes through, then I have found my car. If not, no loss as I made the seller absorb the cost of the PPI. There are right and wrong ways of doing everything.

Amen brother. I imported my '06 NFR on my own, a couple years back. It had only 13k miles when I got it. Picked it up for around $20k. Easy as pie, and totally worth it.

I will be selling my '05 S2000 in the spring. New Formula Red w/19,000 kms. 100% stock, no winters, no rain. The interior still smells like new leather. The car is currently in storage. You can definitely find a cheaper car in the USA - but you get what you pay for. PM me if interested.

I used a global Craigslist search engine. Selected all the north-eastern and great lakes states, and away I went. Got my 06' from Boston a couple years back. Around $20k for a minty fresh, 13k mile ap2. USA ftw.
