Yup! Never mind SpeedStar, no offense intended, but your looking for warranty here.
You have service records showing the oil changed, (how long ago was it done?), you know nothing, nothhhhing!
If they come back with a no oil problem, just ask HOW! You guys changed the oil! Just ?????km ago! You check you oil every weekend don't you?? Nudge-Nudge-wink-wink!
Good luck!

the other Fred...
i would put the stock air box back in... they can be so anal when they see your car is modded and branded you as FnF drivers... you know the CAI is not causing the problem, so take that out of the equation before they use that against you

Yea good idea, put the stock box back on.
Simon, how is Vincent going to help him with a warranty issue. Whether it is an out of oil issue, (dealer caused), or any other warranty claim???

tim, the oil was changed ~4000km ago and according to the instruction manual they say check your oil every gas stop. WTF... who does this?
fred, i've never put the stock airbox back in before let alone taken an aftermarket CAI out. it's probably not that hard, but i don't feel comfortable doing it...
simon, i know for fact that vincent will do a good job, but i suspect this type of work will cost a lot of $$$ and i'm willing to let castle honda deal with it, especially if i can claim warranty on it

actually, after they assess the damage won't they get suspicious with fresh oil in my crank and see that my last oil change receipt was done 4000km ago?
