Seat lock for sure, alarm and always park it in sight or when you are leaving for short period of time. Lot's of s2000's got jacked last year in mississauga and toronto.

no need for a tilt sensor when you have a proxy sensor, right? lol

I also have a back-up battery for my alarm just in case they cut the main power wire, speaking of wire i had all the wiring run deep behind the dash making it impossible to get immediate access to it

All you can do is be smart about where you leave your car, and basically dont make it too easy for them. It also depends on your level of security and what you feel is necessary.

Personally i dont like when people get even close to my car so i threw on a proxy sensor and park it sideways away from the main lot of cars. Reason i didnt go to the extent of putting in a tracking system is because id hate to even have to think about how bad the car would be abused if and when it was found. Oh and wheel locks would be a good idea too.
where did you get your proximity sensor? im looking for one but no luck.

there should be a thead on how safe is the S from scratches in T.o, not very if you ask me.

Im not worried about the info i submitted, its not like im saying where the wiring is. Besides i dont even know where the wiring is lol

I also believe there are a bunch of companies that offer a form of proxy sensor. They may not always call it that, iv seen it called things like "dome protection" or "motion sensor", i would just ask a local installer or supplier.

2-way + prox is good. But you have to remember to turn the prox off on a heavy rain day. It sorta goes beserk/confused when it sees rain.

If you're looking for alarm stuff, I'd recommend Auto-Links.
