Looks like a 10 year old cabin filter...
Yup, and only $62 for a new one from the dealer. Yikes!

Think I'll be getting a HEPA filter from Rona and cutting it to fit the old frame.

:-)

you can buy them online for less than half of the dealer price.

Thanx for the heads-up.

hmmm i've never changed mine (though I did buy a new one many years ago -- its still in my basement somewhere).

i should change it up.

i wonder how bad it is for a 9 yr. old. car w/ 67k km on it.

for those that posted pix - how many clicks do you have on your car?

Mine has 77,500kms. Looks like it was the original filter, but I do not know that for sure.

May simply have been ignorance on the previous owner's part.

Apparently, he did not know about the 'secret' compartment.

BTW, the pricing for replacement filters on-line seems to be all over the place.

Any recommendations on where is best to buy?

BTW, saw another S2K in Guelph last evening.

Silver car getting gas on Wellington at Wyndham at about 10:00pm.

Anyone here on this Forum?

Wow! Nice combo pack. Thanx for the leg-work on that one.

I plan on changing the coolant, as the car is 10 years old and looks like it has the original coolant.

I pulled the valve cover and inspected the valve keepers for signs of over-rev and checked the valve clearances, all looked great.

I should have replaced the valve cover gasket, as it was a bit hard, and now there is drop of oil wetness on the back left corner after a couple of spirited runs, so I'll order a new one.

Thanx again for your work.

They sell coolant too. ($14.94)

I'm pretty sure its Honda coolant. They just did a "typo" by calling it OES rather than OEM.

Another Canadian Internet site for car parts is BestPriceCarParts:

Somethings are a little more expensive, other cheaper.

Quick Reply: How's this for a cabin filter? Lol
