Nimesh, for you it probably is, because your car is different than ours in that it has a lower redline and shorter gearing from the factory, BUT for us, I think it's just about right. 4.44's aren't enough, Rick's 4.58 gears are perfect, the 4.62 gears are a tiny bit shorter, but you won't really notice the difference between the two.

If I were you and I had an 04 I would go 4.44's. For the 00-03 I would go 4.57 or 4.62's.

Regardless, you still need a yellow box . . .

How would the 4.44's affect the 04's acceleration? What kind of rpms on the hwy at 130-140km/hr?

on a side note, have you guys SEEN the S2000 accessory pricing for canada???????

not sure what tyoes of discounts are to be had from MSRP, but all my accessories would have cost me 4,600 up here (plus taxes).

i paid around 2,000US.
