To be clear, the quick connect does NOT come with it, you can get one from any camera store. I ( think ) they are all the same, but make sure it fits your camera first!
Also, there is a chance I only have 9, so if it gets down to it, the last guy on the list might get screwed.. sorry.

Put me down for one! My last attempt at a custom mount was a bit too shaky! Might as well go with something that's done right. And at $45-50 CDN, that's something like 50c US! 
(Ok, I hope that little joke doesn't get me bumped off the buy list... )
