...about the rain again!
Mother Nature focused right in on the area where my fall run was planned for tomorrow, and dumped 4 to 6" of snow on it! This is a perfect example of lake effect snow. The stuff we get a lot of in Upstate.
I had to cancelled the run because I have no time to plan another route; I already have more than 2 full days invested into this one. In addition, I know several members would not want to drive on roads that have been salted, I know I did not want to!!!
Here is the beginning of the run
Here is the scenic overlook
Here is one of my favorite parts

Doug,
I'm sorry to see you're run got snowed out. Although the photos look great.
I'm planning to drive with the Trillium BMW club tomorrow as Mosport. (hopefully better weather than you got) Do you know anyone there?

but am sorry to see that you guys can't have your final drive. I guess its time to move it up the calendar ?
If it melts in a few days, are you still planning for a November date ? A Cold and dry day can still work

Craig Pollock confirmed to us at the Australian CART race today that former BAR driver Jacques Villeneuve should be in a Formula One race seat for the 2004 season, however he was refusing to give away too much information as to where the Canadian will actually be racing.
On Thursday, Pollock told a press conference that Villeneuve would be testing for McLaren in 2004 and racing with an unnamed team in the 2005 season. When we approached him at the Surfers Paradise venue. the penultimate round of the 2003 CART series, Pollock confirmed that plans were well underway.
"Yes, that's the situation," he told us with a smile. "The main thing is that we get him in a seat next season."
