hey everybody,

I'm posting to let everyone know that I met a really great guy from this exact web-site! Bryon is from Portland, OR and is the proud owner of a black s2k and definitely knows his way around the car. He is coming up to Toronto for the weekend of June 22 and 23 and we thought it would be fun to have a meet that weekend (either day is fine). I thought either we could go for a drive or do something like the other Honda owners did this weekend (BBQ)....Mike or Vince or Matrix - I'm hoping that you guys will back me on this one and help out?? Please let me know.

I'm also really hoping that this will happen because I may not be able to keep my "baby" for much longer (not by choice of course)....so this may be my final meet


So please everyone....try to pull together for this it would mean a lot to me!

First, its a shame that we'll be losing you from the ranks. You've been a trip, but if you gotta go you might as well go out with a big bang.

Secondly, its pretty far in advance for me to make plans, but hey why not give it a shot... Will this gentleman friend be staying with you in Barrie or in Toronto? This might make it easier to plan.

June 22 or 23 is kind of far out, but hey, I am always good for a drive.

Bbq may be difficult as there is no room in the car to cart around a bbq...anyone have a few of those charcoal powered bbqs?

What I would suggest is maybe a run out to Elora Gorge or something along that line.

What can I say, I'm a woman....we like to plan things in advance. Plus I wanted to get a feel as to whether or not people would even be interested. So THANKS for replying and for your interest. As the date gets closer we'll speak again and plan something a little more concrete? how does that sound?

I am the Lesley's American friend that will be visit in June. I am really looking forward to meeting you all and seeing first hand what Canada is all "aboot"!

If there is anything (within reason and legally transportable by airline) that you all would like for me to pick up in the US and bring over for ya, please let me know, and I will certainly look into it...I have been told that shipping can be a pain in the a$$ to Canada sometimes...
