Leslie...definitely come out to an autox - especially if it rains...it is a safe spot and you can really push the car. Don't worry about what your times will be like, everyone starts somewhere and the goal is self improvement first. I was super slow the first time and am still slow...Taylor (the punk) took my car out and was 2 seconds faster than me right of the bat...still have not forgiven him for that...but I don't let that discourage me...I will beat him one day ....

I have the 712s and they will be fine for the street as long as you realize that they do not have the same grip as the S02s. The trick here is to feel what is going on with the back end of the car. Once you can do that, who cares what tires your running on the street...it's not a race...it's for fun .

Thanks guys.....I just still haven't gotten over my little "mishap" in the rain and it was over a year ago!!

I think one of these schools probably would be a good idea...I just don't want to be centered out cause I'm a total noobie and am female and am petrified of driving in the rain Isn't doing these schools very hard on my car? I'm pretty much used to the 712's....I'd say they're about 75-80% of the S02's performance?

I can't go to the Oct 10th one....out of town til the 15th or 16th
