Dave - If you dont mind spending $900ish, the the 2610 seems to be the way to go based upon Vincent's and Simon's experience, but this one looks cool too:

we shop online and buy from a store in Calgary... no PST for us...

Nimesh has never bought anything online so he's not sure.

No PST for **** sakes. I bought my GPS from that place.

Thanks. Another bookmark. I'm starting to like the Garmin products more and more.

FYI, I've done a little comparison shopping and Costco, FutureShop, Crappy Tire and even London Drugs can sometimes sell these things cheaper than those 2 specialty stores. But they are still great places to go to see all makes in one place.

Witht he US dollar sucking ass, you may want to buy it in the US.
