I think what your referring to is the sensor placed inside the car...and can be adjusted accordingly?

I think you're referring to a proximity sensor. Most work by detecting motion, so if someone parks next to you it could trigger it. You said yours is dual motion, so I'm assuming it has a dual zone protection area. What this means is your first zone is the zone being monitored around the car. Your second zone would be the interior of the car. Usually the first zone just chirps at people, while the second zone immediately triggers the alarm. You should spend lots of time tweaking the sensitivity for both zones so you don't get a bunch of false alarms when people park next to you. Typically you would want the first zone to be 2-3 inches away from your fender, while the second zone you would want maybe an inch inside your car. Cheers!

i have the dual zone unit and it does give off some false warnings, but thats the price you pay for a proxi sensor. I have the first zone set about 1-2 feet from the exterior of the car, and the second zone set basically if you were to touch the car. They take some playing around with to get it right, but I also have a HT which makes setting the zones a little tricky.

shoot me a pm if you got questions ravi1987

I read up on gtamotorcycle that this gps wont work if its placed in a steel container or behind heavy concrete/underground parkig lots whereas boomerang claims their system works in containers and underground parkinglots.
