My car was stolen!
While I was in the U.S. on Thursday night, my 2005 S2000 was stolen.
Sometime between 11:00 pm Thursday night and 6:00 am Friday morning right from outside our house, my wife was home and did not hear anything.
The theft has been reported to the Peel Police.
The car is red with a black interior, Before I owned the car someone had cut down the shifter, It has a 2007 shift knob on it, it also has brand new Falken tires, The top has had some repairs done from small rips, the patches are clearly visible from inside. the front bumper has been repainted there was no front licence plate bracket on the car.
the front grille has two small philllips screws holding the lower part of the grille to the bumper.
If anyone hears anything please let me know, this car was not insured as I was just preparing it for the road.
This is a devastating loss for us. I will post a picture shortly
The car was stolen from Port Credit (South Mississauga, This is just west of Toronto by 15 min)

Wow - sorry to hear.
Why wouldn't you have theft insurance even though the car is off the road? That part of the premium costs very little - it's the 3rd party liability and collision that's the bulk of it.
Hope you find it!

I still might be covered I am waiting for my adjuster to call me today.
It was parked in my driveway blocked in by another car, but whe I was away for two days there was no car blocking it in.
Mike.
There seems to be something going on here in Toronto I have talked to two other owners who have had their cars stolen recently and not recovered.
Somebody out there Knows something.
I will be talking to the auto theft squad on Wed.
I also want to see if anyone had a key cut for my car.

Anywhere there is a guy ricing up a civic there is a guy who wants your seats, and motor and as mindcore says, many are immediately loaded on a boat and shipped. It's not like many north american cars where the vin is visible through the windshield so a check isn't possible without opening the door. I've got your vin in my databank so every red one I see will be suspect.
I couldn't imaging the pain you're feeling right now...
